About our client
Our client, one of the fastest growing companies in the world, is looking for an ERM Manager to join their Luxembourg headquarters.
Job description
Your responsabilities will include :
>Reports to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management - EMEA
>Supports compliance with ERM regulatory requirements in Luxembourg (50%):
>Manage the Outsourcing Management processes and procedures, in compliance with the Outsourcing Policy and regulatory requirements, including a comprehensive set of SLA's that support the legal entity structure (30%);
>Contribute to ERM Reporting & Communication to local Senior Management, EMEA Management team, Management/Supervisory
>Board and Audit Committee;
>Support forecasting and analysis of emerging risks;
>Monitor potential changes to control environment and create proposals for mitigation activities.
>Support Global ERM function (30%):
>Support global risk governance and reporting, setting up standards to be replicated in other regions;
>Liaises with Corporate ERM; provides/coordinates inputs into the >Corporate Risk Committee agenda;
>Identify and share best practices.
>Support the business on specific projects/initiatives (20%):
>Closely engage and partner with the business, act as internal 'Risk Consultant' and provide recommendations as appropriate;
>Provide guidance on the proper application and interpretation of laws, regulations and policies applicable to the institution;
>Undertake forecasting and analysis of emerging risks;
>Ensures monitoring, escalation and appropriate mitigation of identified exposures beyond risk appetite.
>Be an ambassador for a heightened level of control awareness and ownership
>Design, conduct and facilitate risk review workshops, surveys and post-event investigations
Who we are looking for
>Highest level of integrity, objectivity, and confidentially in the execution of duties
>5+ years experience in Risk Management/Internal Audit/Compliance with the proven ability to operate in a matrix-management role
>Bachelor and/or MBA degree is desirable
>Experience with a large, global, multi-location team, with a successful track record in achieving and exceeding goals in a high growth business
>Proven ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
>Ability to create, implement, monitor and make recommendations for improvement to risk culture
>Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, guidance notes, and best practices
>Excellent oral, analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
>Agility, ability to multitask, good learning skills
>Focused, driven and results orientated
>Strategic thinking and statistical planning skills
>Team player with excellent communication skills
>Strong presentation and persuasion skills
