Our client is an industrial group expanding their team in Finance and Accounting. Their offices are located in Luxembourg City.
Description
What will be you key Responsibilities as Experienced Accountant :
- Process and record customer payments and accounts receivable transactions.
- Create invoices for ancillary income and maintain customer records.
- Provide internal support to the sales organization.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger operations.
- Collaborate with external service providers, such as banks and payment service providers.
- Reconcile cash in transit and suspense accounts.
- Assist with monthly closings, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
- Support accounts payable functions, such as coding invoices and reviewing balances.
- Contribute to audit preparation and ensure proper archiving of accounting documents.
Profil recherché
Your skills, qualities and background as the successful Experienced Accountant that we are looking for :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an industrial or OpCo setting.
- Fluent in English and French; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Interest in financial IT systems and willingness to enhance technical knowledge.
- Solid understanding of Lux GAAP and their practical application.
- Flexible and adaptable to change with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
