Our client is a financial holding company that controls a range of financial institutions, including banks and investment firms.

Job Description

As Compliance Officer - Regulatory Focus you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure group policies are adapted to comply with European financial regulations and Luxembourg banking laws.
  • Compliance Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks specific to the financial holding structure.
  • Policy Development: Update and implement internal policies, ensuring they align with the financial services regulatory environment.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to the CCRO and corporate bodies, with a focus on financial services regulations.
  • Subsidiary Oversight: Oversee compliance within the group's financial subsidiaries, ensuring they meet local and European standards.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Work closely with the Headquarters to stay updated on changes to financial regulations impacting the holding company.



The Successful Applicant

Your qualities as the successful Compliance Officer :

  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance with a focus on regulatory and policy adaptation.
  • Strong expertise in European law and Luxembourg regulations, with experience in policy implementation.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of the organization.
