Description
As a Consolidation and Accounting Officer :
- You are responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly closings of individual legal entities based in Luxembourg.
- You prepare monthly financial reports for each stand-alone entity.
- You analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective measures.
- You maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on financial reporting. You ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and internal policies.
- You support the consolidation process by providing accurate and timely financial data from stand-alone entities in compliance with LUX GAAP.
- You ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting processes.
- You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for audit requirements.
- You provide technical accounting advice to other teams as required.
- You contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting and consolidation function
Profil recherché
The successful Consolidation and Accounting Officer should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A successful experience in Luxembourg preferably in Real Estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of LUX GAAP and/or BE GAAP.
- Proficiency in consolidation tools and financial reporting systems (Sigma Conso, Navision)
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on, feet on the ground and proactive attitude;
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
