Description
As a Depositary Oversight Officer your responsibilities are:
- Perform oversight duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks for depositary services.
- Monitor NAV calculations, investment restrictions, cash flows, and safekeeping duties.
- Conduct due diligence on service providers and sub-custodians.
- Prepare detailed reports on oversight activities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in fund operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Liaise with AIFMs, central administrators, and other fund actors.
- Adapt and implement new tools and processes in a non-automated environment.
Profil recherché
A successful Depositary Oversight Officer should have:
- About 3 years of experience in financial services regulations, in the funds sector. Exposure to AIFs is essential.
- Educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in monitoring and overseeing fund operations and compliance.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a large organization environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
