Description
As a Financial Controller your responsibilities are:
- Oversee accurate financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with German GAAP and Group policies.
- Manage statutory accounts and tax compliance (CIT, VAT, local taxes) and coordinate closely with Group Tax.
- Maintain strong internal controls, monitor financial data quality, and safeguard compliance.
- Support audits end‑to‑end, address findings, and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with SSC and cross‑functional teams to optimize financial operations and ensure smooth reporting processes.
- Provide financial analysis to support informed decision‑making when needed.
- Contribute to entity lifecycle projects (setups, mergers, closures) and finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements.
- Work with ERP and financial systems to support efficient reporting and data accuracy.
Profil recherché
A successful Financial Controller German GAAP should have:
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance controller responsibilities and processes.
- Experience in working in international environments and/or in the IT/Software Business environment.
- Fluency in German language is essential.
- Experience with financial software tools.
- A detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
