Description
As a Financial Controller your responsibilities are:
- Coordinate accounting, tax, and legal aspects for in-house companies and investment structures (Funds/SPVs).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and analyze quarterly reports, tax/VAT returns and regulatory filings.
- Monitor budgets and forecast future financial performance.
- Oversee audit process and collaborate with auditors and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
- Manage cash operations, payments and intercompany reconciliations, and optimize financial resources.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with investment teams on deal structuring in Luxembourg and in the UK.
Profil recherché
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the financial services industry in Real Estate or Private Equity (in-house experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, INREV, and local GAAP (Lux Gaap, UK Gaap, IT Gaap)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
