My client is an AIFM developing its governance team in Luxembourg.
Description
- Oversee all compliance operations relating to the alternative investment funds in Luxembourg in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee and ensure compliance of existing fund-related documents (LPA, PPM, side letters, SLAs etc.) with applicable laws and regulations
- Proactively identify, assess and report on compliance topics for the various private funds and Soparfis
- Monitor the compliance and regulatory landscape in Luxembourg, flag and lead organizational readiness for upcoming requirements including impact assessments for the various funds and Soparfis
- Maintain internal compliance, procedure and control framework in relation to Fund Operations and ensure alignment with current regulations, market practice and internal and external stakeholder requirements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for General Partner (GP) entities
- Manage and serve as key contact for external service providers (e.g. AIFM, administrators, custodians, lawyers etc.) and the regulator (CSSF) for related compliance and regulatory topics
- Oversee and improve AML/CTF framework relating to fund counterparties in line with market practice
- Provide guidance and support to investment teams on fund compliance matters
Profil recherché
- At least 10 years of experience in compliance within the asset management industry in Luxembourg
- Good knowledge in sustainability rules, ESG and EU taxonomy as a classification system
- Good knowledge of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation - SFDR
- Previous experience on compliance monitoring for environmentally sustainable economic activities
- Master Degree in Law or Finance
- Fluent in English
