Our client is a long‑established industrial manufacturer with about 250 employees in Luxembourg (and Germany).
Description
As a Head of HR Luxembourg your responsibilities are:
- Act as a trusted HR Manager to senior leaders, shaping and delivering people initiatives aligned with business strategy in Luxembourg and Germany
- Lead the local implementation of Group HR programs
- Review and optimize organization structures, roles, grades, and workforce plans to support efficiency, capability, and growth
- Ensure robust reward and recognition practices that drive engagement and high performance
- Oversee end‑to‑end payroll delivery with the payroll officer and the payroll provider
- Manage compensation and benefits frameworks, including base pay, bonuses, mobility, pensions, and statutory benefits
- Ensure compliance with employment law, tax rules, and payroll regulations, maintaining high standards of governance and data integrity
- Drive talent management, succession planning, internal mobility, and career development to build future capability
- Lead engaging communication initiatives that reinforce business objectives, culture, and colleague contribution
- Manage the resolution of complex employee relations cases and provide expert guidance to leaders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and staff delegations
- Develop and support the local HR team, fostering high performance and a positive work environment
- Manage the HR budget in line with business expectations
Profil recherché
A successful Head of HR Luxembourg should have:
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg labor law and social legislation
- Experience in managing union relations and negotiations
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven skills in managing HR operations ideally within the industrial sector
- Ability to lead and develop a team effectively
- Competence in handling HR challenges related to blue-collar employees
- Fluency in English and French; knowledge of other languages (German) is an asset
