Description
As Lead Actuary (Non-Life) your responsibilities will include :
- Leadership: Manage a team of 10 actuaries and oversee all actuarial workstreams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for local regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to Solvency II requirements.
- Internal & External Reporting: Lead the preparation of actuarial reports, including SFCR, RSR, and ORSA, and provide insights to the executive team and board.
- Model Development & Risk Assessment: Take ownership of the internal partial model for mortgage guarantee insurance and conduct SCR calculations.
- Product & Pricing Strategy: Drive pricing studies, assess product profitability, and support the launch of new offerings.
- Reserving & Reinsurance: Oversee technical reserves, provisioning policies, and optimization of reinsurance programs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, finance, and risk management teams, contributing to strategic initiatives.
Profil recherché
The successful candidate in this role of Lead Actuary (Non-Life) has the following qualities & experience:
- Master's degree in Actuarial Science.
- 10+ years of experience in Non-Life insurance and reinsurance.
- Recent or current professional experience in Luxembourg.
- Strong expertise in Solvency II regulation and interactions with supervisory authorities.
- Prior experience leading an actuarial team.
- Fluent in French and English.
