Job Description

As a Legal Counsel Private Banking, your responsibilities will be:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts related to private banking activities.
  • Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in Luxembourg and ensuring company compliance.
  • Handling legal matters related to customer agreements, financial products, and services.
  • Collaborating with external legal advisors when necessary.
  • Supporting the resolution of legal disputes and addressing customer complaints.
  • Ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry standards in financial services.
  • Contributing to internal training sessions on legal and regulatory topics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel Private Banking should have:

  • A degree in law, with a focus on banking, finance, or corporate law.
  • Proven experience (at least 8 years) in a legal role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of private banking laws and regulatory frameworks in Luxembourg.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • A proactive approach and a commitment to ensuring compliance.
