Description

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will have the following responsibilities:



  • Track and interpret changes in financial regulations (MiFID II, MAR, cross-border rules), assess their impact on the bank's operations, and support implementation projects accordingly.


  • Conduct regular monitoring activities to ensure adherence to conduct rules, client classification, product governance, and suitability requirements. This includes reviewing investment profiles, order processing, and staff transactions.


  • Draft and update internal compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory developments and group standards.


  • Assist in preparing internal and external compliance reports and act as a liaison for regulatory topics with internal departments and external stakeholders.


  • Use tools like Bloomberg TCA to monitor market abuse risks and support the Head of Compliance in managing alerts and testing controls.

Profil recherché

The Successful Regulatory Compliance Officer has the following profile :

  • Master's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
  • About 8 years in a compliance role within banking or consulting,
  • Strong expertise in MiFID and Market Abuse regulations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MAR monitoring tools (e.g., BTCA) is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and capable of working independently.
