PageGroup, the specialist recruitment company, has won the Outstanding Employee Engagement Strategy award at the 2015 HR Excellence Awards for its successful global employer value proposition, ‘YourPage’.
Launched in 2013, YourPage was created to build a global platform to improve staff engagement and development. It showcases everything the company does and offers its employees in six segments:
  • Career Progression
  • Talent Development
  • Giving Back to Others
  • Diversity at Work
  • Rewards
  • Wellbeing
YourPage also focuses on the company’s core values: take pride, be passionate, never give up, work as a team and make it fun. The judges at the HR Excellence Awards praised PageGroup’s “simple yet effective” strategy and insight, which clearly linked to the success of the wider business.
Kate Chapman, Group HR Director at PageGroup, said: “YourPage has transformed the way we communicate with our people from the moment they think of joining our company. Our people say they love working at PageGroup, our business performance is improving and we are extremely proud of our achievements in such a short time.”
Mrs Chapman further explains how global collaboration and communication was vital in rolling out YourPage in all 35 countries in which PageGroup operates in.
“Each regional HR director adopted their YourPage delivery to make it relevant for their specific market. Crucially, we involved people across the business to develop YourPage, meaning this wasn’t just launched as an HR initiative. Each segment of YourPage was given its own tagline, colour scheme and logo to ensure it was instantly recognisable and memorable to our employees.”
Since the launch of YourPage, attrition levels have reduced by 6%, the female management population in the UK has increased by 27% and the firm has won several industry awards. PageGroup has increased its fee earner headcount by 12%, attributable to its clear focus on talent, leading to a profit boost of 9%.
PageGroup was also shortlisted for the Diversity and Inclusion award for ‘OpenPage’; the company’s global initiative which showcases its commitment to building an inclusive workplace environment.
